探析中法经贸合作中的文化差异

随着中法两国于2004年建立的"全面战略伙伴关系"稳步进展,两国关系业已进入历史上的最好时期。但是,由于一些政治和文化分歧,使中法两国之间的经贸关系既相互依存又摩擦不断。文章主要从文化差异上分析中法经贸合作的现状、问题和发展前景。     

基于生态足迹的从江县可持续发展定量分析

为了更深入地了解可持续发展的程度,有关学者努力探寻能定量衡量国家或地区发展的可持续模型和方法,其中生态足迹就是一个通过相同单位比较人类需求与自然供给的易懂、清晰、直观模型。文章基于生态足迹模型对一个少数民族众多的贫困县进行定量分析,结合一些相关指标,进行地区间横向对比。研究结果表明,2004年从江县的人均生态足迹为1.30007hm^2,人均生态承载力为1.53896hm^2,虽有人均生态盈余＋0.05422hm^2,但根据中国可持续发展等级,从江属弱可持续发展等级。依据分析弱可持续发展的原因提出了可持续发展对策。     

几种发射分集OFDM系统信道估计方法性能评估

给出了3种基于发射分集的OFDM系统信道估计方法,分别从训练序列对算法的影响、估计准确度、算法复杂度和算法适用性等方面对各自性能作了分析比较,并进行了仿真.分析比较和仿真结果表明,训练序列对3种算法的影响很大,通过训练序列的正交化设计,LS和EM算法可以得到很大程度的简化;EM算法与LS算法估计精度相当,信噪比较大时,多项式模型算法估计精度要远远高于LS和EM算法;总体上来说,多项式模型算法复杂度最高,EM算法复杂度最低.     

TD-SCDMA系统中一种软件集成智能天线算法

给出了一种采用信干噪比准则的、集成了预多波束天线与LMS自适应天线的软件天线方案,该方案采用开关合并方法,把软件天线输出接到最大输出信噪比的算法输出,实现算法分集.在TD-SCDMA动态模型上对提出的方法进行了仿真,结果表明,采用集成软件天线方案的误码率性能要优于单纯的预多波束天线或LMS自适应智能天线.仿真过程考虑了用户来波方向和用户到基站距离的动态变化,以及功率控制算法和系统同步过程的影响.     

On Crop Biodiversity, Risk Exposure, and Food Security in the Highlands of Ethiopia

This paper investigates the effects of crop genetic diversity on farm productivity and production risk in the highlands of Ethiopia. Using a moment-based approach, the analysis uses a stochastic production function capturing mean, variance, and skewness effects. Welfare implications of diversity are evaluated using a certainty equivalent, measured as expected income minus a risk premium (reflecting the cost of risk). We find that the effect of diversity on skewness dominates its effect on variance, meaning that diversity reduces the cost of risk. The analysis also shows that the beneficial effects of diversity become of greater value in degraded land.

The social value of income information in a model with market power and endogenous variety

The present paper analyzes the value of public information in a general equilibrium economy with imperfect competition. The welfare effects of an improved information system for perfectly competitive economies have been extensively investigated in the published literature. Schlee (2001) shows that the value of information is always negative in exchange economies if an efficient risk sharing mechanism exists. In contrast, in economies with production, better information reduces welfare provided consumers are sufficiently risk-averse ( Eckwert and Zilcha 2000, 2003 ). In the present paper it will be shown that this result is robust if the production sector exhibits monopolistic competition in the Chamberlinian sense. Even so, the inefficiency of equilibria adds further potential for positive welfare effects of improved information. A model is presented where the degree of market imperfection is positively linked to the value of information. If the markup on competitive prices is sufficiently high, the value of information is positive; that is, better information increases economic welfare.     

The Ethical Case for Affirmative Action

Affirmative action has been a particularly contentious policy issue that has polarised contributions to the debate. Over recent times in most western countries, support for affirmative action has, however, been largely snuffed out or beaten into retreat and replaced by the concept of ‹diversity management’. Thus, any contemporary study that examines the development of affirmative action would suggest that its opponents have won the battle. Nonetheless, this article argues that because the battle has been won on dubious ethical grounds it is important that we do not allow affirmative action to sink unnoticed. This article explores and challenges the ethical and philosophical underpinnings of opponents’ views and finds their cases against affirmative action are not ethically sound. The article concludes there are strong ethical grounds for those organisations which seek to do well, to reassert affirmative action programmes in the global efforts to eradicate systemic discrimination and disadvantage.     

The Impact of Article Method Type and Subject Area on Article Citations and Reference Diversity in JM,JMR, and JCR

It has been argued that the scientific status of the marketing discipline is reflected in both the ability of its articles to be cited and the degree to which its articles draw from a diverse set of reference sources. We combine a content analysis of a sample of 561 JM, JMR, and JCR articles with a citation analysis and reference analysis of those same articles to investigate the impact of article method type and subject area on article citation rates and reference diversity. Our results reveal that verbal-theory and field study papers are both more likely to be cited and more likely to draw from a wide variety of journal and disciplinary reference sources. The results also reveal that services/customer satisfaction and general theory and philosophy of science articles are generally more likely to be cited than other subject areas, although services/customer satisfaction articles are also less likely to rely on a diverse set of references.     

中国农产品出口市场结构的实证分析及国际比较

使用了出口市场集中度指数等分析工具,对我国农产品出口市场结构进行实证分析.结果表明,与世界主要农产品出口国相比,我国农产品的出口市场结构比较集中,在1993～2006年期间经历了先恶化后改善的过程;与肉类产品和水产品相比,我国蔬菜水果产品的出口市场结构相对较为合理.
